Ryin Lehmann’s high school track and field career came to a close Friday. But she will leave the North Fayette Valley program with quite the resume.
Lehmann won her third state medal in the 400 hurdles Friday morning finishing seventh in a time of 1:07.31. “I had some really great mentors my freshman year,” said Lehmann reflecting on her 400 hurdles career. “It’s all about getting in the right mindset to get myself ready to run and my great coach helped me really step it up this year.”
Lehmann qualified for state all four years in the 400 hurdles, placing her sophomore, junior and senior year. She was a five-time qualifier and a three-time place winner.
